I was so excited when my cute friend Kaitlyn asked me to take the newborn pictures for her first baby. He is so adorable as you will see, but he gave us quite the fight in taking his pictures. We had to even reschedule! But he finally gave in and slept well for us in the end :) Thank goodness because he is so precious! Congrats you guys!

...Avalynn... [3 months]

I am in love with this baby. And this is totally okay, since she is my niece. I was able to do a mini studio session with her right before I left to Texas & let me tell you she made it a breeze! Shooting babies at this age can be sometimes super difficult or awkward - they aren't flexible and sleepy like newborns yet they can't sit up yet or crawl. Megan (her mama) wanted them done in her UofU cheerleader outfit that we did her first's, Emerie, 3 month photos in. Check Emerie's out here. Avalynn is the most smiley baby I have ever seen & it makes my heart melt! We had no trouble getting her to grin, see for yourself..

...Cassie... [newborn]

Meet Cassie, she was a dream baby to photograph because she was so sweet & such a good sleeper. You might remember her big sister's newborns I did a little over a year ago Aurora. Well their mom wanted a shot of all their feet & it was quite the challenge.. keeping a 18 month old still for a foot shot is no easy task.. not only the foot shot but she wanted one with Aurora & Cassie together. Aurora wanted nothing to do with her sister and we had to bribe her with cheerios to sit in the chair next to Cassie. Despite the challenges, we got some good ones! I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

...Brijor... [newborns]

I posted a sneak peek (the first image below) several days ago of this session. This little guys mom just happens to be Shantel, who you may remember from this post of her bridals last year. It's so crazy how life can change SO fast. Shantel used to hang out at my parent's house all the time with my little sister & now she's married with a baby. I feel like I am getting OLD!
This session was fun but a lot of work! Brijor did not want to fall asleep for us but we finally prevailed and snapped a bunch of darling images of him. Such a darling little guy...

This little boy melts my heart.. I cannot get enough of him. Good thing he is my nephew and I get to see him pretty often! I had such a fun time shooting these in my studio. If you don't already have a smile on your face, you will after this post. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
